Yoga in Prospect Park

Join me and Jared Goodloe from Compass for Yoga in Prospect Park!

We will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the Brooklyn Library on June 12th. Once everyone is together, we will walk over to the park.

This is a free event but registration is required: Link for registration on Eventbrite

What to bring? Please bring positive energy, a yoga mat, towel, and water will be provided but you can bring your own, and a friend (no need to register them ahead of time).

What to expect? Please be prepared to have a good time. This is a Beginner’s yoga class so don’t feel intimidated. No prior yoga experience required.

High Tea event with Bloom

Women that Bloom presents an educational, entertaining and oh-so-delicious 90-minute virtual High Tea hosted by Bloom’s Book Club on Saturday, May 8th at 1 p.m. If you’re an avid tea drinker, just getting started, or just want to sip and get the ‘tea’ this event is for you.

The fabulous afternoon will begin with a tea tasting guided by Alexandra Lauture, health coach and owner of The Peaceful Bean (@thepeacefulbean). Alex specializes in helping her clients fulfill their highest vibration by incorporating peaceful practices in their day-to-day routines. She aims to highlight overlooked factors that largely contribute to stress. Alex also has a background in public health, mental health, nutrition, medical marijuana, and behavior change. During her time with us, she will discuss the benefits, flavors, and self-care enhancements of the 5 teas we will taste during this event.

To prepare for this event, you can purchase the Bloom High Tea package to have the teas delivered right to your door, or you can purchase the following teas at your local store:

1. Green tea

2. White tea

3. Rooibos tea

4. Oolong tea

For some added sugar, our tea tasting will be followed by some quality girl talk.

Lastly, it wouldn’t be a High Tea if we didn’t come dressed for the occasion! So ladies, let’s step out in our best High Tea fashion!

We’d love to see:

∙ Tea dress (Examples of colors think: Teal, Green, berry, soft rose, violet)

∙ Pearls

∙ Hats, floral headband, clips, or other hair accessory.

∙ Lace gloves

We will be taking pictures of our virtual event, so you are encouraged to show off your best high tea fashion. There will be a prize for the best dressed lady, so make sure that lady is you!

Don’t forget to select the Bloom High Tea Package Ticket, if you want Bloom to send you a package to have you prepared for the High Tea.

This will be a fun and energetic event so gather the ladies and join us! It’s Mother’s Day Weekend, so bring Mom as well, so you both can enjoy tea and quality bonding time! We look forward to seeing you there!
